Warranty questions
How long does the lifetime warranty last?
For as long as you own the device. There is no expiry date and no registration required — the warranty is tied to the repair we performed, not to a time window.
Do I need my receipt to claim the warranty?
It helps, but it isn't required. We keep a record of every repair, so we can look up your device by phone number or IMEI at any Cell Universe location in Vancouver.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell the phone?
The warranty covers the repair, so the new owner can still bring the device in. We just need to be able to match the device to the original repair record.
Does the lifetime warranty cover a second crack?
No. The warranty covers the part and the workmanship — it does not cover new accidental damage. If you crack the screen again, it's a new paid repair, though our price match guarantee still applies.
