Questions about our parts
What is the difference between OEM and premium aftermarket parts?
OEM parts are made by the device manufacturer and are identical to what came in the phone. Premium aftermarket parts are made by established third-party manufacturers to meet or closely match OEM specification. Both perform well; OEM costs more and preserves every original feature exactly.
Does Cell Universe use genuine OEM parts?

Why would I choose a premium part instead of OEM?
Cost, mostly. On an older device that you plan to keep for another year or two, a premium part gives you a repair that looks and feels right for meaningfully less money — and it carries the same warranty.
Will an aftermarket screen affect True Tone or Face ID?
On premium-grade screens we transfer the original components where needed so features keep working. If a specific feature can't be preserved on your model, we tell you before we start the repair.
Are premium parts covered by the lifetime warranty?
Yes. Part grade doesn't change your warranty — every eligible repair we perform is backed by our lifetime warranty on parts and labour.
